A Little History

Having been married for over fifty years, we’ve had our fair share of experiences in life and the RV world, including buying three and selling two Class A diesel pushers.

Motorhome #1 was a 40 ft 2006 Newmar that we bought from the original owner in 2016:
> Unfortunately, this particular Motorhome was a "bucket of bolts", a rattle trap of rattle traps! We tried hard to like it, ultra smooth ride as long a you drive on glass and don't run over a piece of thread, if so, the whole motorhome rattled horribly. Other troubles persisted and after getting them fixed (except the excessive rattling) I was able to sell it at a profitable price and made sure to disclose EVERYTHING to the new owner......that's how I roll.

Motorhome #2 was a 40 ft 2007 Alfa See Ya So Long that we purchased from an independent dealer in 2018:
>We didn't like this motorhome....WE LOVED IT! We took long trips through Texas (our home state) then through New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California and couldn't be happier. Also took trips to Louisiana, Oklahoma and others. Alfa's offer a unique feature of 7.6" ceilings, while were not tall people, the openness felling was awesome. Regarding maintenance and repairs, they were minimal and Alfa owners have two tremendous Facebook Support Groups with Alfa specific technical help and advice. We never felt abandoned if something happened and we needed support because someone with insight, advice or recommendations were just a text, message, or phone call away.

>In late 2021, after an unexpected emergency bypass surgery, we faced uncertainty about my future health and physical abilities and decided to sell our Alfa motorhome in 2022. Now, fully recovered and more active than ever, we made the decision in early 2025 to embrace full-time RV living and lease our home of over 40 years. However, we needed another Motorhome.  The hunt was on.......After endless searches of multiple brands of motorhomes we decided that it had to be another Alfa! However this time we knew what to expect, and what to look for, so there wouldn't be a lot of surprises!

Motorhome #3 a 40' 2006 Alfa See Ya Gold that we purchased from an original owner:

There were issues that needed to be addressed but the seller was more that generous in allowing substantial price concessions to have the work done. There is a Alfa mechanical "Guru" in Louisiana that we took it to and he fixed everything! So we're "on the road again.....

We’ll share our road experiences, tips for choosing parks, solutions to the challenges of RV life, links to parts and items we think are great and most importantly, how we’re savoring every moment of Motorhome Liv’n. Brace yourself....This could get a little crazy!

then.....OOPS!
